Senior Civil/Structural Engineer

Location: Baton Rouge, LA Salary Range: $125K-$145K Expected Start Date: November 9th or sooner Experience: 7-10+ years PE License: Required We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to support engineering, design, project execution, and client-facing activities for industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering analysis, calculations, design, and documentation.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Perform structural analysis, including finite element analysis for complex structures.
• Provide field inspection and construction administration support.
• Lead and mentor engineers/designers and coordinate with project teams.
• Work directly with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Support technical proposals and business development activities.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong experience with RISA, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Plant 3D, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, codes, standards, and best practices.
• Experience working directly with clients and managing client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English and professional/presentable client-facing communication skills.
• Industrial experience in areas such as Oil & Gas, Refining, Chemical, Manufacturing, or similar environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to lead design teams and work effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass applicable background and pre-employment screening.
• Local candidates preferred; non-local candidates will also be considered if they are willing to relocate/travel as required and can effectively work directly with clients.
• Ability to obtain required site credentials/certifications as applicable.
