Job Summary

We are looking for a Civil & Interior Supervisor to supervise civil maintenance, interior work, renovation, and infrastructure-related activities. The candidate will be responsible for managing contractors and workers, monitoring work quality, arranging materials, and ensuring timely completion of assigned work.

Key Responsibilities

Civil Work

• Supervise civil construction, repair, renovation, and maintenance activities.
• Handle masonry, plastering, flooring, tiling, waterproofing, concrete work, drainage, and repair work.
• Monitor building and factory civil maintenance activities.
• Check measurements, workmanship, and quality of completed work.
• Coordinate with contractors and site workers for daily activities.

Interior Work

• Supervise painting, furniture, carpentry, partitions, false ceiling, flooring, wall paneling, doors, windows, and interior renovation work.
• Coordinate installation and repair of office furniture, workstations, cupboards, tables, chairs, and other fixtures.
• Supervise POP, gypsum, modular partition, glass partition, and ceiling work.
• Monitor painting activities including surface preparation, putty, primer, and final coating.
• Coordinate carpentry work, including fabrication, installation, repair, and modification of wooden/laminated furniture.
• Ensure proper finishing and quality of interior work.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely completion of interior projects.

Contractor & Manpower Management

• Allocate daily work to contractors, carpenters, painters, masons, and other workers.
• Monitor contractor manpower and productivity.
• Coordinate multiple contractors working simultaneously.
• Verify work measurements and contractor bills.
• Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and requirements.

Material Management

• Prepare material requirements for civil and interior works.
• Monitor receipt, storage, and consumption of materials.
• Ensure optimum utilization of materials and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with the purchase/store department for timely availability of materials.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily work progress reports.
• Maintain records of manpower, material consumption, and contractor work.
• Report project progress, delays, quality issues, and additional requirements to management.
• Assist in preparing basic estimates and BOQs for civil and interior works.

Safety & Quality

• Ensure all work is carried out according to required quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the worksite.
• Identify defects and ensure timely corrective action.
• Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and materials.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil, interior, painting, furniture, and maintenance work.
• Good knowledge of carpentry and furniture installation/repair.
• Knowledge of painting, putty, POP/gypsum, false ceiling, partition, flooring, and tiling.
• Ability to read basic civil drawings and layouts.
• Good contractor and manpower handling skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and complete work within deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Qualification: ITI / Diploma / Civil Engineering preferred.
• Experience: 3–7 years in civil maintenance, interior work, construction, or industrial/factory maintenance.
• Experience in factory, office, commercial building, or industrial interior maintenance will be preferred.
• Practical knowledge of civil and interior work is essential.
