Civil Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join a PMC project team on-site, supporting the successful delivery of a major LNG infrastructure project.

This position is ideally suited to a Civil/Structural Engineer with previous experience as a Field Engineer on large-scale Oil & Gas developments, preferably within LNG terminals and tank construction projects.

The successful candidate will act as the PMC representative in the field, ensuring construction activities are executed in accordance with approved designs, project specifications, and quality requirements while providing ongoing support to project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and review engineering documentation prepared by construction contractors relating to temporary works, field modifications, and construction activities.
• Ensure construction execution remains aligned with approved design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor site activities and identify any deviations from approved engineering documentation. Raise, track, and report non-conformances and deviations, ensuring timely resolution. Review, assess, and provide comments on contractor progress reports, technical submissions, and field documentation.
• Support the Client as the PMC field representative, providing accurate reporting on construction progress, risks, issues, and quality performance.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, quality, and project management teams to ensure effective execution of site activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Field Engineer or Civil Supervisor on major Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy infrastructure projects.
• LNG terminal project experience is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting the construction of LNG storage tanks is considered a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, temporary works, and field engineering practices.
• Ability to review engineering drawings, technical documentation, and contractor submissions. Experience identifying, reporting, and managing construction deviations.
