Civil Supervisor

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Civil Supervisor with a Diploma in Civil Engineering and knowledge of civil design and drawings. The candidate will be responsible for supervising daily construction activities, coordinating with contractors and workers, monitoring project progress, ensuring quality standards, and completing civil works as per approved drawings and project specifications.

The ideal candidate should have practical site experience, the ability to read and interpret civil drawings, and knowledge of construction methods and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Read, interpret, and understand civil engineering drawings, layouts, and design plans.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, contractors, consultants, and site workers.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
• Ensure the quality of construction materials, workmanship, and site execution.
• Supervise concreting, masonry, plastering, flooring, reinforcement, formwork, and other civil works.
• Assist in preparing material requirements, labour allocation, and daily work schedules.
• Monitor the consumption of construction materials and minimize wastage.
• Maintain daily site progress reports, labour attendance, material records, and work measurements.
• Identify discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings and report them to the concerned engineer.
• Assist in interpreting design changes and coordinating the implementation of revised drawings.
• Ensure compliance with construction safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping at the worksite.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for the timely availability of construction materials.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure proper utilization of manpower and equipment.
• Support quantity measurements, estimation, and preparation of basic bills and progress reports.
• Ensure that all civil works meet the required quality, safety, and project standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Knowledge of civil design, construction drawings, and site execution is required.
• Experience in civil construction and site supervision will be preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and drawing interpretation will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of construction materials, estimation, quantity measurement, and quality control.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage construction workers and coordinate with contractors.
• Willingness to work at project sites and meet construction deadlines.
