Company Overview:

Our client is A global provider of materials testing, inspection, and certification services, supporting industries including aerospace, automotive, energy, electronics, and manufacturing. Its expertise covers mechanical testing, materials characterization, environmental testing, failure analysis, and quality assurance, helping customers verify performance, meet regulatory standards, improve product reliability, and accelerate innovation worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Perform soil, concrete and aggregate testing
• Conduct density test
• Sampling of concrete for compression and flexural test
• Conduct slump testing
• Have an idea / conduct asphalt testing (preferable)
• Prepare and compile reports

Requirements:

• SPM / Secondary School qualification, SKM, Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in similar role
• Good communication skills and ability to work in teams and to work under pressure
• Technician with Civil testing lab experience ( example: soil, concrete, aggregate, density, slump, compression/flexural or asphalt etc) including rebar testing as well.
• Basic knowledge on material testing will be sufficient, experience in material testing will be better. The most important is willing to learn and good attitude.
• Most of the time will be stationed in lab, but site work is required when needed (maybe few times in a year)
