Civil Work Site Estimator

CBC Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Site Work Estimator to join our team in Panama City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relevant construction estimating, with the ability to analyze project specifications and prepare accurate cost estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

The person must be able to review civil drawings and specifications for a wide range of public and commercial projects.

• An industry related college degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estimating civil scope of work (site work & utilities).
• Ability to read and understand plans in various stages of design from schematic and budgetary plans to detailed take-off and pricing of 100% plans for private, public, and commercial projects.
• Experience in preparing complete estimates that include material, labor, and equipment.
• Excel and/or AGTEK Software knowledge required.
• Analyze and estimate project changes and assist the project management division in preparing change orders.
• Excellent work ethics and verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Salary will be based on experience and will be discussed at the interview.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for civil site work/utilities construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the estimating process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software required.

NOTE: This is a daily in-person, in office position.

There is not a relocation package budgeted for this position.

Pay: $84,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
