Civil/Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Verify that work aligns with local regulations and project requirements.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the integrity of civil construction works.
• Identify and address any deviations from approved plans.
• Create comprehensive inspection reports documenting findings, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections.
• Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient inspections.
• Provide guidance on meeting civil construction requirements during project execution.
• Oversee testing and validation procedures for civil construction materials and elements.
• Ensure that construction materials meet specified standards and project requirements.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards on construction sites.
• Identify and address safety hazards related to civil construction activities.
• Communicate inspection results to clients, project teams, and relevant authorities.
• Provide guidance on addressing any non-compliance issues.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, codes, and emerging technologies in civil construction.
• Recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of civil construction projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience as a Civil Inspector, with a focus on civil construction projects.
• Thorough understanding of civil construction codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
