Claim Technicion

Job Summary

The Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing products submitted under warranty and counter claims. This role covers the full range of the company's tech accessories and plays a direct role in keeping customer trust high by resolving faults quickly, accurately, and to a consistent quality standard.

Key Responsibilities

· Physically inspect products received through Counter Claims and Customer Claims to identify the fault.

· Verify the product's serial number, accessories, and condition against the claim details before starting any repair.

· Distinguish between genuine manufacturing defects, physical damage, and signs of misuse or tampering.

· Diagnose and repair faults across all product categories — audio devices (earbuds, speakers, sound bars, headphones, handsfree, neckbands), power devices (power banks, chargers, car chargers, cables), and home theatres and smart glasses.

· Replace faulty components using approved parts and repair procedures.

· Test every repaired unit thoroughly before marking it complete, to confirm the fault is fully resolved.

· Record daily work accurately on the Daily Working Sheet (or the digital claims system once implemented), including serial number, fault details, and resolution status.

· Flag any claim showing signs of tampering, counterfeit parts, or repeat faults to the Lead After Sales Support.

· Complete repairs within the turnaround time targets set by the Claims Center.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, including proper handling and storage of tools, spare parts, and customer products.

· Follow all safety procedures when working with batteries, chargers, and electronic components.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Diploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).

· 1-2 years of experience repairing tech gadgets and mobile accessories.

· Working knowledge of soldering, circuit diagnosis, and battery/charging systems.

· Ability to use basic tools and testing equipment (multi-meter, soldering iron, etc.).

· Attention to detail, especially in identifying tampering or fraudulent claims.

· Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under daily productivity tracking.
