Claims Adjuster

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate and assess claims submitted to the company
• Conduct inspections of property and motor car claims, including potential fraud cases
• Handle claims in nearby provinces as needed
• Verify policy coverage, provisions, and details (e.g., premium status, policy validity)
• Evaluate and adjust claims to ensure fair and reasonable recommendations
• Determine company liability and recommend appropriate claim settlements
• Recommend denial of claims when justified
• Perform other related tasks as required by the immediate superior

Job Summary:

• Strong background in claims evaluation and insurance processes
• Knowledgeable in insurance policies and coverage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Willing to render overtime when necessary
