Duties

• Assist experienced claims adjusters in evaluating property, casualty, and workers' compensation insurance claims to determine coverage and liability.
• Support the investigation process by collecting relevant documentation, photographs, and evidence to facilitate accurate claims assessment.
• Learn to utilize estimating software such as Xactimate and other financial tools to prepare damage estimates and settlement proposals.
• Participate in claims negotiation with policyholders, vendors, and third parties to reach fair and timely resolutions.
• Help identify potential fraud indicators through analysis skills and adherence to insurance law and regulation standards.
• Maintain organized records of all claim activities, correspondence, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding claim status updates, process steps, and resolution timelines to ensure excellent customer service.

Skills

• Strong analysis skills with the ability to assess damages accurately and identify potential fraud or discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes.

Pay: $65,900.00 - $70,000.00 per year
