Claims Assistant (Casual) — Moretto Group

Moretto Group is a leading property remediation and insurance restoration company, and we're looking for an organised, detail-oriented Claims Assistant to join our team on a casual basis, approximately 5 hours per day.

About the Role

Working closely with our operations team, you'll play a key role in keeping claims moving smoothly from intake through to completion. Day to day, you'll be responsible for:

• Triaging new claims and setting them up accurately across our internal platforms
• Liaising with customers and clients, providing timely updates throughout the claims process
• Scheduling technicians for the following day's jobs, ensuring efficient allocation of work
• Reviewing completed reports for accuracy, correcting typos and formatting issues before they go out

About You

• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of written communication
• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and meeting daily deadlines
• Confident on the phone and via email, with great customer service skills
• Prior experience in claims, insurance, administration, or a similar coordination role is highly regarded (but not essential)
• Tech-savvy and quick to pick up new systems and software
