What they need

About the Role: As a Claims Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact for managing projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of repairs, and maintaining excellent communication with all stakeholders. Your role will involve coordinating repair works, keeping customers updated, managing schedules, and supporting the team with technical and administrative tasks.

About Us: C+M Build Group is a multi-disciplinary design, engineering, and construction services provider operating across the east coast of Australia. Founded in 2018, the company specialises in end-to-end building services for the insurance, residential, and commercial sectors.

     What You'll Do:

  • Manage the administration of insurance-related home repair claims.
  • Manage a portfolio of repair projects from claim lodgement to completion.
  • Process and lodge claims through client portals and email.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs and ongoing building works.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls.
  • Liaise with homeowners, insurers, loss adjusters and trades.
  • Provide clear updates to customers, clients and contractors.
  • Monitor project deadlines, budgets and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records in Prime and external databases.
  • Assist with accounts payable, receivable and work orders.
  • Participate in overtime during peak periods when required.

What We're Looking: We're not focused on qualifications or prior experience in construction - what matters most is your attitude and ability to get the job done. If you're organised, a great communicator, and enjoy problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proven customer service experience, ideally within the insurance, building, or construction sector.
  • Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a professional, calm approach.
  • Proactive mindset and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Basic IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Prime Ecosystem, insurance portals, or building claim systems (highly regarded).

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step into an exciting role where they can make a real impact.
