CLAIMS MANAGER

Job Summary:

• Oversees the operations of the Claims Department and ensures its compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures, Key Result Areas and Service Level Agreements with providers and clients are met.
• Provides timely and prudent decisions on escalated claims and complex cases.
• Establishes protocols and initiatives related to cost containment measures across teams within operations; Assists the Operations Team in resolving complex medical claims.
• Looks over the needs and welfare of Claims employees and communicates their needs to upper management; be available for them to answer relevant inquiries and concerns.
• Regularly checks with the Supervisors regarding feedbacks and other significant issues.
• Performs duties that may be assigned or required to by the job from time to time. Attends to other tasks assigned by Senior Management.

Qualifications:

• Managerial or Supervisory experience in HMO / Insurance / related field is required
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Independent, high level of integrity and ability to deliver result under pressure and tight deadline with strong sense of responsibility.
• Able to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
• Must be conversant in English and Tagalog, both written and verbal.
• Must be computer literate with knowledge of office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Amenable to work in Ortigas Centre, Pasig City – Philippines
