What they need
Medical Mutual is seeking an analytical, self-motivated, and confident individual looking for professional growth to join our nationally respected Claims Department. As a Claims Representative, you will help us fulfill our mission to deliver unrivaled claims defense to our insured physicians and dentists. You will take ownership of the complex malpractice claims assigned to you and deliver exceptional service to our insureds. Working directly with insureds, defense attorneys, and our management team, you will assess medical and legal issues, analyze claims exposures, develop and execute proactive defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and prepare claims for trial. Through this collaboration, you will become a trusted member of the defense team and direct your assigned claims toward appropriate resolutions.
NOTE: You do not need prior insurance experience to apply. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training. This opportunity will suit an ambitious professional seeking long-term growth and advancement with a stable company—someone who approaches their work with initiative, creativity, sound judgment, and a drive to deliver high-quality results.
