Claims Support Specialist

Position Summary As a claims support specialist on our team, you’ll help ensure our claims process runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll partner with and provide administrative support to claims examiners and leaders.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. The position reports to the Claims Support Manager.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Input claims (Casualty, Professional, and Healthcare) from a shared inbox
• Send acknowledgement of receipt for each claim that is set up
• Filing correspondences and keeping the claim file up to date
• Process claim payments
• Set up and verify vendors
• Prepare files for counsel

Additional Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Superior analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
