<h3>Pub</h3>
Clarendon
<h3>Overview</h3>
RUN CLARENDON, WOLVERHAMPTON
Overview: Clarendon is a historic and characterful pub located in the heart of Wolverhampton town centre. Packed with local brewery history and closely connected to one of the UK's most famous brewing cities, it offers a unique experience for both locals and visitors. Known for its strong matchday atmosphere, rich heritage, and prominent main road position, the pub attracts Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters, town centre visitors, and passing trade throughout the week. With current estimated weekly sales of around £5,000 and the potential to achieve £10,000+ per week through a consistent calendar of events and activities, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious operator.
The business: The pub is a substantial two-door venue centred around a striking focal point bar, creating a welcoming and lively atmosphere. It benefits from two large function rooms, a fully equipped commercial kitchen, and extensive trading space capable of supporting multiple income streams. Key strengths include its rich local brewery heritage, its reputation as a favourite gathering place for Wolves fans on home matchdays, and its prominent town centre location on a busy main road that captures valuable passing trade.
The opportunity: This is a rare opportunity for an operator to introduce their own food offer and transform the pub into a destination venue seven days a week. The next operator can build upon the pub's established reputation while unlocking significant additional revenue opportunities. The strongest growth priorities are developing a compelling food offer, maximising the potential of the two function rooms through private hire and community events, and creating a year-round programme of entertainment and activities that keeps guests returning beyond matchdays.
Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for an experienced operator, couple, or management team with strong food-led experience, commercial awareness, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. You will have the leadership skills to develop a thriving community hub, the ability to capitalise on major sporting occasions, and the confidence to grow sales by combining a great food offer with an engaging events programme..
What’s in it for you? 20% share of weekly wet sales excluding VAT, and keep 100% of any food sales. Low ingoing costs start with a £5,000 deposit and £360 legal cost. Separate owner’s accommodation is included, with most bills covered except council tax and TV Licence.
Ready to take the next step? Run Clarendon and unlock the full potential of one of Wolverhampton's most historic pubs, growing trade from a strong £5,000 weekly base to a thriving £10,000+ per week business. If you're ready to take ownership of a landmark venue and build a successful food and events-led operation, enquire today.
