Responsibilities

• Design and deliver dynamic clarinet lessons tailored to students’ skill levels and learning styles
• Develop customized curriculum plans that incorporate technical skills, music theory, and performance techniques
• Guide students through rehearsals, performances, and practice routines to enhance their musical proficiency
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
• Maintain organized records of lesson plans.

Requirements

• Proven experience teaching clarinet or other musical instruments with a focus on youth programs or community education
• Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse age groups
• Experience working with children and understanding childhood development principles
• Knowledge of music theory, performance techniques, and the ability to teach instrumental performance effectively
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for special education needs or early childhood education settings is a plus
• Passion for creative arts instruction with a commitment to fostering a love of music in students
