Class 1 Driver | Crane Operator

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Class 1 driver with Crane Operator certification to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate heavy-duty vehicles and cranes, contributing to construction projects and logistical operations. This role requires a thorough commitment to safety and detail in operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 3 trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation of materials and equipment.
• Skillfully operate cranes, including boom trucks and rigging equipment, to lift, move, and position heavy loads on construction sites or job locations.
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and cranes before each shift to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and team members using clear communication skills to execute lifting plans and delivery schedules efficiently.
• Maintain accurate logs of all transportation activities, crane operations, inspections, and safety checks.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients, contractors, and team members on-site.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Certification as a crane operator, including experience with boom trucks or rigging equipment.
• Construction experience is highly preferred to understand site safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting on vehicles and crane equipment.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating tasks clearly and efficiently on-site.
• Experience in rigging techniques, crane safety standards, and load calculations is desirable.
• Customer service orientation with a professional attitude when engaging with clients or project teams.
