Class 1 Driver/Operator

Overview

We are looking to add Owner Operators and PR Class 1 Drivers to the team! Service areas are all over Canada & USA.

Duties

• Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles for the transportation of freight across designated routes.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
• Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to maintain vehicle operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with the operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts to facilitate loading, unloading, and material movement within facilities.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during operations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving in routes all over North America.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections, documentation, and safety compliance.
• Prior experience in freight transportation or logistics is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Commitment to safety standards, punctuality, and professional conduct at all times.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week

Work Location: On the road
