Hourly Rate: £19.15 per hour (Overtime paid at time and a half)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Requirement to cover early and late shifts as needed)

We are currently seeking a Class 2 HGV driver to join our busy, exciting Transport Team. This can be a demanding role within the business, perfect for someone looking for a dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive an assigned motor vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Operate and use the vehicle and associated equipment correctly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
• Manage vehicle refuelling.
• Conduct daily safety checks on the vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with Health and Safety guidelines, safe working practices, and Manual Handling Regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with the transport team, external companies, and the public.
• Commitment to providing the highest level of customer care.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Confidence in managing WTD (Working Time Directive) and driving hours regulations to plan the day accordingly.
• Willingness to wear correct PPE and adopt all systems and methods of work taught in training programmes and documentation (relevant training will be provided).
