Class 1 HGV Driver – Epworth

E Park & Sons Ltd is a Potato Packer/Merchant with our own fleet. We are recruiting a Class 1(CE) HGV Driver to join our team.

Job description:

If you’re a motivated individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment this is an excellent opportunity

You will be allocated one of our own vehicles. Loads will include collecting from farms for delivery to our potato packing plant, delivering from our potato packing plant to customers and some general haulage.

You should be well mannered and be flexible in hours of work whilst complying with the EU regulations.

Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and within the allocated timeframes.

• Secure loads correctly to prevent damage and ensure safety during transit.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

You must hold a full HGV Class 1 (CE) driving license (no more than 6 points, no DD,DR or DG) and a driver CPC card.

Positions available working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work OR

4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern

Whilst this is not a tramping vacancy 3 to 4 nights out per week can be expected at peak times.

Rates of pay

• Monday to Friday all hours worked paid at £15.75 per hour
• Saturday rate all hours worked paid at £17.00 per hour
• Sunday rate all hours worked paid at £19.00 per hour
• Bank Holidays all hours paid at £19.00 per hour
• Secure Overnight Parking up to £25.00 per night
• Night out allowance £25.00 per night
• Paid legal driving breaks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday OR
• 4 on 4 off shifts
• Weekend availability

· Extra Shifts available

Weekend Work and Bank Holidays will be necessary according to the shift pattern.

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year (preferred)
• Aged over 21 years
• Driver CPC (preferred)
• Ability to commute/relocate:

o Epworth DN9 1LB : reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
