About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers to join a leading nationwide utility services provider based in Colnbrook.

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers looking for long-term, ongoing work, consistent hours and excellent earning potential.

Both day and night shifts are available, with the opportunity to work approximately 40–60 hours per week, depending on the shift pattern and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a Class 2 / Category C vehicle in accordance with all road and transport regulations.
• Work Projects will include any drainage related issues
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks before and after shifts.
• Reporting any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly.
• Liaising with customers
• Following designated routes
• Completing paperwork and electronic records accurately where required.
• Maintaining regular communication with the site teams.
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, tachograph and health & safety requirements.
• Maintaining a clean, professional and safe working environment.
• Representing the company professionally at all times.

Shift & Pay

Days: £18.00 per hour
Nights: £19.00 per hour

• Approximately 40–60 hours per week
• Day and night shifts available
• Ongoing, regular work
• Overtime opportunities available depending on operational requirements
• Limited induction spaces currently available

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A full and valid UK Class 2 / Category C driving licence.
• A minimum of 6 months' recent Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC / DQC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations.
• A good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations.
• A professional, reliable and responsible approach to work.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider transport team.
• The right to work in the UK.
