Central Otago Based | Ongoing Assignment | Immediate Start | $32-$36 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you a reliable Class 2 Driver looking for steady work with the potential to secure a permanent position? We are seeking motivated team members to join a busy road maintenance and sealing crew supporting projects across Central Otago, Coastal Otago, and Southland.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain long-term work with a well-established civil infrastructure contractor, with assignments available through to the end of March and the possibility of permanent employment for high-performing candidates.

What We Are Looking For

• Full Class 2 Driver Licence (essential)
• WTR endorsements advantageous but not essential
• Previous civil construction, roading, or labouring experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to safety
• Flexibility to travel and stay away when required

• 6:30am starts with typical finish times between 5:00pm and 6:00pm

Important Information

Successful applicants must be willing to travel as required to support regional sealing operations. Occasional overnight stays will be required.

About the Role

You will be part of a road sealing crew responsible for supporting sealing operations across the region. Duties will include:

• Operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Assisting with road sealing and maintenance activities
• Loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials
• General labouring duties within the crew
• Supporting machine operators and site teams
• Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety
