Class 2 Driver/night driver

We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods. Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 lorries in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing of cargo during transit
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules and optimise fuel consumption
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs
• Assist with loading and unloading when required, maintaining a high standard of organisation and safety
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures during daily operations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving.
• Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with logistics operations
• Valid Class 2 driving licence with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial vehicle operation
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks related to loading/unloading cargo
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
