HGV Driver - Class 2

Hours: Monday to Friday 6.30am – 4.30pm, alternative Saturdays 7am – 1pm

We're seeking a professional Class 2 HGV Driver to join our established team in Watford.

As one of the faces of the company, you'll be responsible for delivering building materials safely and efficiently to customers across Hertfordshire, London, and surrounding areas, building strong relationships while providing outstanding customer service.

What You'll Need:

• Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong road safety awareness and practical driving skills
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately

Responsibilities:

• Delivering building materials safely and efficiently to customers and construction sites
• Loading, unloading, and securing products correctly
• Planning and following delivery routes effectively
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring your vehicle remains clean and roadworthy
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Obtaining delivery signatures and issuing paperwork
• Processing customer card payments when required
• Completing delivery records accurately and efficiently

Pay: £40,000.00 per year
