Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Class 2 International Occasional Driver This role is to delivery goods from UK to France and back

It is occasionally and positive couple times a month.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 flatbed trucks for international deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Plan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with customs and border requirements
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness
• Secure cargo properly on flatbeds, ensuring load stability during transit
• Complete all necessary documentation, including delivery logs, customs paperwork, and driver logs accurately and promptly
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during trips
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients, customs officials, and team members throughout each journey

Experience

• Proven experience as a commercial driver with a focus on flatbed or similar vehicle types
• Demonstrated ability to handle international driving routes with knowledge of border crossing procedures
• Prior delivery driver experience preferred, with a track record of punctuality and reliability
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo securement on flatbeds
• Valid Class 2 driver’s license with appropriate endorsements for international driving and flatbed operation
• Knowledge of road regulations across different countries and regions is highly desirable

Pay: £120.00-£150.00 per day
