Class 2 Stormwater Station Operator

This is a varied role that involves working alongside an experienced crew carrying out the operation, maintenance, and servicing of wastewater and stormwater pump systems. No two days are the same, and training will be provided to the right person who is eager to learn and develop.

In this role, you'll get stuck into practical work, build valuable operational experience, and play an important part in keeping wastewater and stormwater systems operating safely and reliably.

You'll be involved in:

• Keeping essential infrastructure moving – assist with the operation and maintenance of wastewater and stormwater pump stations.
• Tackling real-world challenges – respond to breakdowns and faults as part of a rotating on-call roster, where no two situations are quite the same.
• Building practical skills – gain hands-on experience working around wastewater infrastructure, equipment, maintenance, and day-to-day operations.
• Enjoying plenty of variety – take on a mix of general labouring and operational duties that will keep you active and involved.
• Being part of a safety-focused crew – work alongside a supportive team that looks out for each other and takes pride in doing the job safely and well.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Full Class 2 Driver Licence.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Willing to participate in a rotating on-call roster.
• Comfortable working in and around wastewater environments.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Desirable Skills (Training can be provided)

• Crane/Hiab certification.
• Working at Heights certification.
• Confined Space certification.
• Previous experience in civil, water, drainage, infrastructure, or maintenance work.
