Class 3 / 3A Van Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 3/3A Van Delivery Driver to join the team at Seng Seng Transportation. This is a full-time position based in the Ang Mo Kio North-East Region. As a Van Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers across the region. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive their deliveries promptly whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism. You will be the face of our company, and your dedication to customer satisfaction will directly contribute to our reputation and business success.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a Class 3/3A van in safe and roadworthy condition
• Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to meet daily schedules and customer expectations
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper handling and packaging
• Deliver packages to customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Obtain customer signatures and handle payment collection where applicable
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation and invoices
• Conduct pre-delivery vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety standards whilst driving
• Communicate with management regarding delivery progress and any obstacles encountered
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries professionally

What we're looking for

• Valid Class 3 or 3A driving licence with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role
• Good knowledge of the Ang Mo Kio and North-East Region, or willingness to learn local routes
• Strong time management and route planning skills to ensure on-time deliveries
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry packages regularly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic literacy and numeracy for record-keeping and documentation
• Valid work permit or employment pass (if applicable)
