Class 3 driver

About the role

We are seeking a Class 3 driver to join Cx Logistics Pte Ltd in the Tuas West Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods throughout our service areas. As a Class 3 driver, you will be responsible for operating medium goods vehicles and maintaining the high standards of service that our clients depend on. This role is essential to the success of our logistics operations and directly contributes to our commitment to excellence in the couriers, drivers and postal services industry.

Key responsibilities

1. Operate medium goods vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with traffic regulations and company policies
2. Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations
3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any maintenance issues or defects
4. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle condition
5. Load, unload and secure cargo appropriately to prevent damage during transit
6. Communicate professionally with customers and warehouse staff to coordinate pickups and deliveries
7. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations and company procedures at all times
8. Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle interior and exterior
9. Report any incidents, accidents or damage to management promptly

What we're looking for

1. Valid Class 3 driving licence with a clean driving record
2. Proven experience as a driver in the logistics, courier or transport industry
3. Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and road safety practices
4. Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery schedules
5. Physical fitness and ability to lift and handle goods of varying weights
6. Proficiency in basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting
7. Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude
8. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions whilst on the road
9. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
10. Reliability and a commitment to punctuality and attendance
