Class 3 Hot Shot Driver

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting equipment and materials to various locations within Edmonton. This position requires a valid class 3 driver's license and experience with a tow truck.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently transport goods and materials to designated locations

• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as skid steers & excavator heavy machinery

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure

• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays

• Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to report any issues or changes in delivery schedules

• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols and vehicle maintenance

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Proven experience as a Driver, preferably in a commercial driving role

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus

• Familiarity with operating heavy equipment, such as skidsteers & excavators

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
