Class 4 & 5 Truck Driver

Max Recycling Limited is looking for reliable and experienced Class 4 and/or Class 5 Truck Drivers to support our recycling and transport operations. The role involves transporting recyclable materials, aggregate, and other materials between sites, customers, suppliers, recycling facilities and disposal locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 4 and/or Class 5 trucks in accordance with road rules and company procedures.
• Transport recyclable materials, spoil, aggregate and other loads as required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Follow all health and safety requirements, including PPE, site rules and traffic management instructions.
• Assist with loading and unloading where required.
• Ensure loads are secured safely and transported responsibly.
• Maintain accurate delivery dockets, job records and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, customers and team members.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and well-maintained.

Requirements

• Valid NZ Class 4 and/or Class 5 full driver licence, with the ability to drive manual trucks.
• Previous truck driving experience, preferably in recycling, waste management, civil construction or transport.
• Good understanding of safe loading, unloading and load restraint requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Able to follow instructions and work in a busy operational environment.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Please note that our yard is based in Whenuapai, West Auckland, and this will be the daily start and finish point.
