Class 4 Driver

Job Descriptions:

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Class 4 vehicle to transport and deliver goods according to assigned schedules.
Duties include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring vehicle roadworthiness, loading and unloading cargo safely, and adhering to designated delivery routes and traffic regulations.
Ensures timely completion of deliveries, maintains accurate delivery and vehicle records, and complies with company safety policies and procedures.
Works closely with logistics, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Job Requirements:

• Operate a Class 4 commercial vehicle (e.g., trucks, lorries) for the transport of container, goods, material or equipment safely and responsibly.
• To report any incidents on working hours immediately to the Line Manager.
• To participate in all Safety session, organize by Company.
• Comply with Singapore Traffic Laws and Company Safety procedures
• Deliver container and goods to customer within Singapore, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
• Maintain good communications with customers, site personal, transport coordinators and any other relevant parties
• Plan and follow delivery routes efficiently, considering traffic conditions and schedules.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is loaded to optimal capacity to minimize the risk of damage and prevent any safety hazards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe and working condition.
• To strictly follow company policy i.e., no smoking policy, seat belt policy, defensive driving policy and any other policy or procedure implement by the company
• To strictly follow fleet on board monitoring procedure. i.e. fatigue alert
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Vehicle and report any mechanical issues or damage to the supervisor.
• Follow the company policies and procedures for vehicle usage, safety protocols and customer service
• Support the logistic teams with any special projects or tasks as needed

Qualifications:

·       Must possess at least GCE ‘N’ Level/ GCE ‘O’ Level

·       At least 1 year(s) of working experience in related field

·       Preferable candidates specialize in Logistic

·       Good safety awareness and responsible driving attitude

·       Possess valid Class 4 Driving License (Manual License)

·       Good knowledge of Singapore roads

·       Clean driving record

·       Able to perform operational duties, including handling cargo and loading/unloading activities where required.

·       Able to communicate effectively with staff of different nationalities
