CLASS 4 DRIVER - Rolleston

We are a market-leading plastic rotational moulding manufacturer, seeking a committed individual to join our team in Rolleston.

Devan Plastics Ltd is New Zealand’s leading specialist in water tanks and wastewater solutions. Since commencing operations in October 1988, we have been involved in the design, tooling, manufacture, and distribution of a wide range of rotationally moulded plastic products.

We are currently looking for a Driver to join our team with full time. Industry experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

You will need to be fit and energetic, reliable, able to communicate well with customers, and willing to work hard.

A current Class 4 driver licence is the minimum requirement, along with proven experience towing trailers.

Our trucks are manual 5 or 6-speed transmissions, so you must be confident driving manual vehicles.

You will need to plan your runs efficiently and maintain clear communication with customers. Once on site, strong troubleshooting and risk assessment skills are essential, along with the confidence to discuss practical options and solutions with site contacts.

Delivery requirements vary depending on team needs, so flexibility is important. Deliveries cover the entire South Island, with up to two nights away per week and occasional weekend work. Loads can be up to 3.1 metres wide and 4.2 metres high, and are considered wide loads.

Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa.
