What the role looks like:

We currently have both dayshift and nightshift opportunities for experienced Class 5 drivers looking to work in our highly skilled and dynamic Christchurch based curtainsider team operating a top-notch fleet.

Predominantly working Christchurch metro, an adaptable approach and comfort with variety is also required, as our team are known for their flexibility and dayshift may also include driving containers on occasion, or the ability to fill in on linehaul units from time to time with the occasional stay away.

Nightshift drivers will also be predominantly Chch metro but also capable of doing linehaul and some swaps to Springs Junction/Westport, containers, and general freight duties as required.

Your attention to safety, maintenance, and vehicle operation will reflect the high standards that our loyal customers and suppliers expect, and drivers must be clean and tidy with good habits around in-cab presentation. Flexibility is required to suit business and seasonal needs.

Work pattern:
Full-time, permanent roles with a regular roster (or casual positions available working on a when required/available and as agreed basis):

• Typically Monday – Friday (occasional weekends)
• Average shift: 8 –12 hours
• (guaranteed minimum 80 hours per fortnight for permanent employees)

What you bring to the table:

• Class 5 licence (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience
• Previous curtainsider driving experience
• F endorsement & OSH certificate (preferred, but not essential)
• Good geographical knowledge of Christchurch and the Canterbury region
• A knack for learning new technology – show us your adaptability!
• A dedication to teamwork and customer service
