Class 5 Driver - (4 on 4 off)

About the role

Based in our Head Office, Takanini, we are after an experienced line haul Class 5 Driver to join our talented team of Drivers on a fixed term basis.

Starting at 2pm, this role will see you load up your truck in Auckland, before heading down to the Wellington delivering chilled & frozen food to businesses before driving back to Auckland.

This a great opportunity for experienced, motivated driver who enjoys working the nightshift and is confident driving line haul. Our new driver will be the friendly face of our business, delivering freight along with outstanding service for our customers and their customers.

We are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys being physically fit (this role includes manual lifting and hand unloads), understands the importance of checking temperature settings, completing relevant documentation accurately and undertaking daily vehicle inspections.

What will you need?

• Hold full & clean Class 5 license, with a minimum of 2 years NZ Class 5 driving experience
• Solid line haul Class 5 driving (NZ) experience
• Experience driving a truck and trailer
• Clear communication skills and be customer focused
• Strong safety awareness and commitment
• Professional work ethic and be team focused

Refrigerated transport experience while not essential is advantageous

This is a fixed term opportunity through to September 2027! The hours of work are rotating 4 days on, 4 days off, starting at 2pm.
