Class 5 Driver – Day or Night Shift

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Class 5 Heavy Skelly Driver to join our team.

This position would suit someone who is reliable, practical, and comfortable working independently. Day or night shifts are available, with the potential for full-time work for the right person.

 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 - Full Class 5 licence

• Minimum 2 years’ driving experience

• Good command of English, written and spoken

• Able to follow instructions and complete jobs reliably

• Comfortable using modern equipment and technology

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

• Swinglift experience would be an advantage

WHAT WE OFFER

There is also the opportunity for full-time work for the right person.

Rates are negotiable based on experience

To be suitable for this role you must:

• Hold a Clean full Class 5 license. A minimum of 2 years' experience driving heavy Skelly’s, with the ability to reverse onto a bay.
• Have excellent communications skills, you are the face of the company
• Be fit and healthy, able to get in and out of vehicle with some lifting.
• Maintain a proactive approach to your Health and Safety and those around you
• Maintain a professional road manner
• Be able to work on Weekends if required
• Relevant port inductions

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Applicants will need to:

• Pass a pre-employment drug test

• Pass a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check

• Have the legal right to work in New Zealand

• Provide relevant licence and employment information
