About the Role:

Budds Grading and Excavating, LLC is looking for a skilled Class A CDL Driver to join their hardworking team in Rio Grande, NJ. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated crew doing meaningful ground-up work in the excavating and grading industry. Responsibilities:

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites
• Safely haul heavy loads including dirt, gravel, and construction materials in compliance with DOT regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs
• Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure timely material delivery
• Assist with on-site grading and excavating operations as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle and equipment
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL license required - No Manual Restrictions
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or heavy haul vehicles preferred
• Familiarity with construction, grading, or excavating environments a plus
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
• Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
