Class A CDL Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A CDL Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to deliver freight efficiently and reliably across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, combined with your commitment to safety and customer service, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and other commercial vehicles with MANUAL TRANSMISSON.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and track loaders when necessary, ensuring secure handling of goods.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up, adhering to schedules while navigating traffic efficiently.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit and verify delivery accuracy upon arrival at destinations.

Experience

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
• Two years experience minimum
• Proven experience operating tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty trucks in a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and various trailer types including flatbed, dump truck.
• Delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures across multiple routes.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight handling, route driving, and vehicle maintenance.
