Experienced Commercial Drivers — Flatbed, Tanker, Drop Deck & Lowboy

COMPENSATION: Hourly Pay Rate is between $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

C&E Logistics is seeking reliable and skilled CDL Class A drivers to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely operating company tractors and vehicles with various types of trailers including tankers, flatbeds, drop decks, and lowboys. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to safety, a positive 'can-do' attitude, and the ability to navigate routes safely and efficiently. Qualifications

• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement
• Hazmat endorsement preferred
• 5-year clean MVR (verified via background check)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent verifiable Class A driving experience
• MUST be able to drive a manual transmission with no automatic restrictions
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical
• Flatbed experience preferred (we will train the right candidate)
• Must pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Successfully pass a road test
• Must have a REAL ID compliant driver's license

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and trailers including tankers, flatbeds, drop decks, and lowboys.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight to various destinations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries made.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety compliance policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and customers with a friendly, courteous, and helpful attitude.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods and safely securing loads using chains, binders, and ratchet straps.
• Work comfortably in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in route driving with a strong understanding of navigation and logistics.
• Excellent commercial driving skills with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A, tanker endorsement, no automatic restrictions).
• Strong attention to detail for conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
• Ability to work independently and safely as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (You must be nice!).
• Unwavering commitment to safety practices and maintaining a spotless driving record.
