Class A CDL Driver / Grading Equipment Operator

Job Summary

Exquisite Pool & Spa is seeking an experienced CDL Driver with grading and site preparation experience to join our pool construction team. This position is responsible for transporting equipment and materials to job sites, operating grading equipment, and assisting with excavation, site preparation, and construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, experience operating heavy equipment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks and trailers requiring a CDL license
• Transport excavation and grading equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites
• Perform grading, site preparation, and earthmoving activities for residential and commercial pool construction projects
• Operate heavy equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, loaders, and grading equipment
• Assist with excavation, backfilling, compaction, and final grading
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Secure loads and comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Read site plans, grade stakes, and project layouts as needed
• Assist construction crews with general labor tasks when equipment operation is not required
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and crew members

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
• Minimum 2 years of grading, excavation, or site development experience
• Experience operating skid steers, excavators, loaders, and grading equipment
• Ability to read construction plans and understand grade elevations preferred
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Pool construction experience preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
