Class A CDL Driver – Site Work & Utility Contractor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to support our site work and underground utility operations. This role is ideal for a reliable driver who understands construction jobsite logistics, can safely haul materials and equipment, and is comfortable working in a fast‑moving heavy civil environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A trucks for hauling materials, aggregates, equipment, and jobsite supplies
• Transport excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment to and from job locations
• Assist with loading/unloading using chains, binders, and proper securing methods
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and follow DOT regulations
• Support field crews with jobsite needs, including material staging and equipment moves
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
• Represent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, and the public

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
• Experience hauling equipment for site work or utility contractors preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load securement practices
• Ability to operate and maneuver trucks in tight jobsite conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
• Ability to assist with general labor or equipment tasks when needed is a plus
• Experience with lowbed trailers preferred but not required

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
