Class A Driver - Local

18 Wheels USA is hiring CDL-A drivers for an intermodal position based in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a PM-shift opportunity with hourly pay, a five-day workweek, and home time multiple times during the week.

Drivers average $1,600 per week.

Position Details

• Solo intermodal position
• PM schedule
• Five working days per week
• Optional sixth day available for additional pay
• Mix of drop-and-hook and live-load freight
• Home multiple times per week
• Occasional overnight stays
• Automatic-transmission trucks

Dispatches begin and end at the intermodal yard.

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least three months of tractor-trailer experience within the last 12 months
• Drivers with older experience may qualify if, during the last 10 years, their time driving is at least equal to their time away from the road
• Comfortable handling multiple dispatches and a combination of live-load and drop-and-hook freight
• Available for occasional overnight trips
