Class A Drivers Needed!!!!

Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and dependable Class A Drivers to join our dynamic transportation team! As a Class A Driver, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) journeys. Your expertise in handling different types of cargo—such as refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, and specialty loads—will ensure timely deliveries and exceptional service. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including flatbed, tanker, and refrigerated trailers, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
• Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations
• Load and unload freight efficiently, utilizing manual handling techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Transport various cargo types, including hazardous materials (Hazmat), dangerous goods, and specialty freight like automobile transportation or roll-off trucks
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in accordance with FMCSA regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, and any issues encountered on the road

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat certification preferred)
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently
• Knowledge of logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading procedures, and manual handling techniques
• Experience with GPS navigation systems and route planning software
• Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and hazardous materials regulations
• Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks when required
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service
