Class A Hazmat/Tanker Driver - Local, Night Shift

Cobian Transport, Inc. is seeking Class A fuel tanker drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements for Local, Night Shift routes to join our growing fleet.

We are a family-owned fuel transportation company serving customers in the Southern California. We’re looking for dependable, safety-focused drivers who take pride in their work, equipment, and the service they provide.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A truck with a focus on tanker and hazmat transportation, ensuring compliance with company and legal guidelines.
• Load and make deliveries in a safe and timely manner, including proper use of safety equipment and following established procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and cargo transported, adhering to DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service while on the road.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with verifiable job history.
• Current Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• At least 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of fuel loading and delivery safely.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safe driving and fuel handling.
• Current medical certificate, with no restrictions or limitations.
• Must be able to pass our road test with a vehicle chosen by the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $39.00 per hour
