Duties

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer with a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), including manual transmission vehicles and refrigerated trailers.
• Navigate routes using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries across California, Nevada, and Arizona.
• Load and unload freight, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods, following all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
• Transport various types of cargo such as freight, flatbed loads, tankers, or automobile transportation units across over-the-road (OTR) routes.
• Comply with DOT (Department of Transportation), Hazmat, and hazardous materials regulations during all phases of transportation.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure truck safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo handling records in accordance with FMCSA rules.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license.
• Demonstrated expertise in driving tractor-trailers, including manual handling of freight and logistics cargo handling.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution.
• Experience with truck loading/unloading procedures for various cargo types such as freight, hazardous materials, flatbeds, or tankers.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations related to hours of service, safety standards, and hazardous materials handling.
• Delivery driver experience preferred, especially involving route driving over long distances on OTR routes.
• Ability to adhere strictly to DOT regulations while maintaining high safety standards during all operations.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
