Class A Truck Driver

Operate newer w900's/389's pulling, flatbeds, conestoga's, and endump's for the safe transportation of freight. This is a local position home every night.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role involves transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of our operations and providing excellent service to our clients.

Duties

• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations during transport operations.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
• Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with route driving, delivery driver, or freight transportation experience.
• Familiarity with operating different types of trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and being able to strow straps for securement.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 55.0 – 65.0 per week
