Class A Truck Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles such as refrigerated trailers to transport freight across designated routes.
• Secure cargo using Load bars or straps ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Deliver freight promptly while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations; maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules to meet customer expectations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries, providing excellent service throughout the process.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations including hours-of-service rules.

Requirements:

• Recent Grads are welcome in our training program.
• Valid Commercial Driver License A with a clean driving record; experience driving tractor-trailers preferred.
• Proficiency in operating trucks; experience with refrigerated trailers trucks is highly desirable.
• Prior driver experience demonstrating safe driving practices skills preferred.
• Knowledge of route driving techniques with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.
• Physical ability to perform duties that include climbing in/out of trucks, and extended periods of driving or standing.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers effectively.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per week
