Class B CDL Delivery Drivers

Role Description This full-time, on-site Class B CDL Delivery Driver role is based in the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City Area. The driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to deliver industrial, medical, and specialty gas cylinders and related products to customer locations, following all DOT, company, and safety regulations. Day-to-day activities include loading and unloading products, verifying delivery documentation, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate delivery logs. The role involves frequent interaction with customers to address delivery needs, answer basic product questions, and ensure high service quality. The driver may also assist with warehouse tasks such as cylinder handling, inventory support, and occasional forklift operation as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and basic Sales abilities to support customer relationships and product delivery interactions.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely, including Forklift Operation and related warehouse handling tasks.
• Experience with Training activities, such as mentoring new team members on safety procedures and delivery practices.
• Background in Food & Beverage or similar service-oriented environments, demonstrating reliability, time management, and adherence to safety standards.
• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record and the ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn safe handling of gas cylinders and related industrial products.
• Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, moving, and securing cylinders and products throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and reliable communication with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in delivery driving, logistics, or industrial distribution is beneficial.
