Class B CDL Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and professional Class B CDL Driver to join our customer relationship focused team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles ( Truck and Moffett / Piggy Back forklift) to transport goods and materials to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. The Class B CDL Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.

Duties

• Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
• Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of items.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other required documentation.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and overall condition of the vehicle.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or damage.
• Contribute occasionally to minor stone yard duties ( When necessary, help organize the stone yard, help build outgoing orders, help offload inbound materials from flat bed and dry van trailers etc.)

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Proven experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably in a delivery or transportation role.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents within recent years.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and inspecting vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
• Schedule is Mon-Fri, weekends off and home every night

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
