Class B CDL Driver

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vac Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong understanding of truck driving regulations, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle Vacuum trucks. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Driver must have two years' experience a Hazmat Endorsement, Tanker Endorsement and a TWIC Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum trucks for pickups and deliveries.
• Must have Hazmat Endorsement and TWIC card.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
• Ensure that cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) - Class B, with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with 2 years' experience in operating vacuum trucks.
• Hazmat Endorsement.
• Twic Card.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
